Margueritte Zinkann
Margueritte Zinkann, 92, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:01 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at her home.
She was born on Aug. 19, 1921 at Burwell, Neb., the daughter of Frank and Nellie (Kozial) Wegrzyn.
She married Aloysius Zinkann and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children - Eloise Rohner of Du Quoin, Barbara Vernon of Honolulu, Hawaii, Alan Zinkann of Lilburn, Ga., Gary Zinkann of Des Plaines, Ill., Marla Tabaka of Naperville, Ill., Carl Zinkann of JohnÃs Creek, Ga. and Janine Zinkann of Du Quoin, 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Fr. Joseph Oganda officiating.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Five Star Industries, 1308 Wells Street, Du Quoin, Ill. or will be accepted at the funeral home.
