Judy K. Stokes-Mandrell

Judy K. Stokes-Mandrell, age 56, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at 10:10 a.m. in her home.

Judy was born on Nov. 18, 1956 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to John and Sophia "Arlene" (Harrison) Stokes Sr. Judy was a Christian and a registered nurse for over 23 years. She loved collecting shoes, jewelry and dearly loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Josh Mandrell (Casey Jones) of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one daughter, Amy Mandrell of Belleville, Ill.; one brother, Ron (Susan) Place of Trenton, Ill.; two grandchildren, Alexus Jones-Myers and Kanden Mandrell; nine nieces and nephews, Shannon Cook, Shawn Stokes, Kerri Place, Tracy and Valeri Place, James and Angie Place and John and Warren Place and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael Place and John Stokes Jr.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Dennis Middleton officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
