Robert H. Kellerman

Robert H. "Bob" Kellerman, age 79, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Friday, Oct.r 26, 2012 at 6:15 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Bob was born on Dec. 1, 1932 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a son to Winfred "Winnie" and Florence Oma (Geistdoerfer) Kellerman. On Aug. 23, 1958, he married Shirlene Rice in Cairo, Ill. and she survives. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. Bob was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., American Thresherman Association and worked as a supervisor for AMAX Coal.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years; two daughters, Tammy (Gilbert) Helvey and Molly Kellerman-Wright (Scott Wright), all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Dr. Nicolas (Mandie) Kellerman, Chelsea Anderson and Abygail (Bragi) Weathers; five great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Olivia, Michael and Jacob Kellerman and Journey Anderson; mother-in-law, Lola Bird; three sisters, Winona (Claude) Hampleman, Ruby (Richard) Lynch and Sue (Roger) Kuhnert, all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; brother-in-law, David Rice; two sisters-in-law, Sue Rice and Wilma Lee Kellerman and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Russell Kellerman and Roy Kellerman; one sister, Gertrude Woodside and one brother-in-law, Dennis Rice.

Graveside services will be held at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Military graveside rites will be provided by Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, American Thresherman Association Steam Shed Fund or Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
