Chamber announces Leadership Carbondale class
The Carbondale Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2019 Leadership Carbondale class.
Leadership Carbondale is a leadership training program headed by the chamber through which participants receive knowledge and resources through a curriculum designed to build leaders, develop networking skills and teach participants more about the Carbondale community.
Participants will meet for training sessions every month for 2019. Topics for this year's class will range from authentic leadership to community building, with community leaders contributing for each topic. The program will culminate with a class project and graduation at the chamber's November membership luncheon.
This year's participants are Trey Anderson (IESO, LLC), Khara Burke (SIU Recreation Center), Matthew Dunning (Carbondale Police), Monique House (Boys and Girls Club of Carbondale), Kristin Pankey (Southern Illinois Healthcare), Kyle Scerena (Jackson County Health Department), Catherine Shaw (Southern Illinois Healthcare), Lindsay Tolcou (Centene), Sarah VanVooren (SIU Student Center) and Curtis Vaughn (First Mid Bank and Trust).
