Ruth L. Shute

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ruth L. Shute, age 86 of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 11:40 a.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Ill.

Ruth was born on Sept. 25, 1925 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Clyde and Irene (Kiehn) Creath. On April 30, 1942, she married Benjamin D. Shute in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2005. She was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., enjoyed shopping and dearly loved caring for and spending time with her family.

Ruth is survived by one son, Bob (Patty) Shute; one daughter, Vicky (Terry) Jennings all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two grandsons, Troy (Jackie) Jennings and Raymond Jones, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Alicia and Nicholas Caplinger and Savanna Jones; brother-in-law, Ron Lowe of Coulterville, Ill. and special friend, Joann Gadow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and a sister, Doris Lowe.

Funeral services were held at Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Lee officiating. Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Beaucoup Baptist Church on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
