Velma H. Reynolds

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Velma H. Reynolds, 95, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:35 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.

Velma had been a homemaker. She had worked at Daily Grocery Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin. She was also a member of the Euzelian Sunday School Class and Home Extension.

She was born Dec. 25, 1916 at Hamilton County, Ill., the daughter of Leslie and Rella (DeWitt) Daily.

She married Stanley Buskohl on Feb. 10, 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1982.

She then married Raymond D. Reynolds on April 5, 1986 at Du Quoin and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2003.

She is survived by one daughter - Johanna Shaw of Pinckneyville, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son - John Buskohl and two sisters - Maxine Johnson and Virginia Brayfield.

Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Mark Lee officiating.

Friends called from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the American Heart Association or TIP Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
