Billie Dean Feltmeyer

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Billie Dean Feltmeyer, 82, of Dupo, Ill., born May 18, 1929 in Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Billie hired in on the Missouri Pacific railroad in 1953 and retired from the Union Pacific railroad as a yard conductor in 1991. He was a member of the Columbia Masonic Blue Lodge #474 A.F. & A.M. in Columbia, Ill.

Billie was preceded in death by his parents: Ezra and Margaret, nee Hempleman, Feltmeyer.

He is survived by his wife: Ruth Feltmeyer, nee Steger, his children: Sue Brewster, Sandy (Dan) Gillam, Bruce (Faith Ann) Feltmeyer, Joe (Friend: Sheri) Feltmeyer, Cheri "Myrtle" Feltmeyer and Darrell (Julie Dickerson) Feltmeyer, his step-children: John Fitzgerald and Tina (Gary) Letner, his sister: Sharon Kay (Ralph) Hemmer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, the mother of his children Catherine and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.

Visitation was Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.

Masonic Service was Friday, Jan. 13, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Dashner-Leesman Funeral Home in Dupo, Ill.

At Billie's request he was cremated.
