Larry W. Chapman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Larry W. Chapman, age 68, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at 10:55 a.m. in his home.

Larry was born on June 15, 1943 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a son to Frank and Violet (Benedict) Chapman. On Dec. 16, 1962, he married Bonita (Bonnie) Farmer in Vienna, Ill. and she preceded him in death on June 3, 2007. He then married Mary Gaston on Feb. 14, 2008 in Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives. Larry was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and was a coal miner for Consolidated Coal, retiring after 30 years. Larry was a Mason and a member of the U.M.W.A. Local 1825. He enjoyed playing cards, watching his grandchildren play sports and dearly loved the time he spent with his family

Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Deaton of Pinckneyville, Ill.; three children, Michael (Amy) Chapman of Pinckneyville, Ill., Pamela (Tony) Dudek of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Belinda (Louis) Moore of Henrietta, Tex.; seven grandchildren, Cody (Ashley) Zoller, Emily Chapman, Nathan Zoller, Lucas Chapman, Henry Dudek, Daisy Dudek and Jacqueline Moore; mother-in-law, Ruby Mathis of Vienna, Ill.; two step-children, numerous step-grandchildren, great grand children and many dear friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; and one sister in infancy, Doris Faye.

Graveside services were held at Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Tim McIntyre officiating. Family and friends were asked to meet at the cemetery.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate memorial donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
