Frank Pete Ruppert

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Frank Pete Ruppert, age 91, of Coulterville, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 at 4:25 p.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Ill.

Frank was born on June 6, 1920 in Todds Mill, Ill., a son to Henry and Lucy (Giacomo) Ruppert. On June 10, 1941, he married Minerva Ann Robb in Todds Mill, Ill. He had retired from farming and was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and Perry County Farm Bureau. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Minerva Ruppert of Coulterville, Ill.; three sons, Lonnie Dale (Melinda) Ruppert, Daniel Dean (Belinda) Ruppert and Frank J. (Connie) Ruppert, all of Coulterville, Ill.; four daughters, Frances McKinstry of Coulterville, Ill., Rebecca (Paul II) Kenner of Sarasota, Fla., Mary (Bogdan) Ruppert-Stroescu of Columbia, Mo., and Kathleen (Bryan) Sprehe of Coulterville, Ill.; two sisters, Rose Hamilton of East Alton, Ill. and Shirley Ruppert of Pinckneyville, Ill.; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way and numerous other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Brian Dale Ruppert; and a brother, Elmer Ruppert.

Funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011 at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, Ill. at a later date.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The rosary was recited at 9:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic School.
