Robert Mark Cohlmeyer
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Robert Mark Cohlmeyer, 53, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Aug. 14, 1958 in Kirksville, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011.
Robert graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was a guidance counselor at Belleville East High School and the former band director. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Fairview Heights, B.P.O. Elks and a member and Past President of the Illinois Federation of Teachers, Local 434. He was also a member of the Marching Saluki Band Alumni Group and life member of the Southern Illinois University Alumni Association.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Billy G. Cohlmeyer.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Rottschalk-Cohlmeyer; two daughters, Abigail Clare and Brenna Louise, all of O'Fallon; mother, Louise (nee Tade) Cohlmeyer of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a sister, Cynthia (Robert) Wilson of Carlyle, Ill.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard (Doris) Rottschalk of Du Quoin, Ill.; brother-in-law, John (Jennifer) Rottschalk of O'Fallon, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Julie Rottschalk of Du Quoin, Ill.; an uncle, Robert (Vivian) Cohlmeyer of Centralia, Ill.; two aunts, Margaret Miller of Kirksville, Mo., Judy Tade of Lee's Summit, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Douglas Wilson, Emily Wilson, McLain Baker, Andrew Rottschalk and Michael Rottschalk.

Memorial visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Memorial service was held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the church with Rev. Kevin Weaver officiating.
Services were entrusted to Schildknecht Funeral Home and Cremation Services, O'Fallon, Ill.
