Reyth Laura Young

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Reyth Laura Young, 81, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Fair View Nursing Center in Du Quoin.

Reyth was a homemaker. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

She was born March 2, 1930 at Gray Ridge, Mo., the daughter of Barney and Mary (Bolin) Haley.

She married Rubert E. Young in 1945 at Piggott, Ark. and he preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1990.

She is survived by one daughter - Shirley Stowers of Tamaroa, Ill., one sister - Daisy Riley, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters and one great granddaughter - Wren Stowers.

Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. David Melvin officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
