Irma Catherine Heape

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Irma Catherine Heape, 93, of Farmington passed away at 9:47 p.m. Friday, June 17 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born on April 14, 1918 in Leslie, Mo. to Samuel and Catherine Hagene Grob. Irma married Delbert Ray Heape on Sept. 7, 1934 in Du Quoin. He preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1996.

Also preceding her were her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Surviving is a daughter Judy Peterson of Carlsbad, Calif.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Irma was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church in Peoria.

Services were at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 at Woodland Baptist Church in Peoria. Rev. Joel Newton and Rev. Will Ferguson officiated.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 20 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington.

Graveside services were at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Sunset Memorial Garden in Du Quoin with the Rev. Jim Donahue officiating.
