Robert A. Eichholz

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Robert A. "Bob" Eichholz, 87, of Ruma, Ill., passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, Ill.

He was born Oct. 3, 1923 in Pinckneyville, a son to Margaret (Kellerman) and Robert Eichholz. He was the groundskeeper for the Ruma Convent for many years.

He is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Eichholz was preceded in death by his parents; eight sisters and two brothers, Elizabeth Wisniewski, Agnes Eichholz, Anna Eichholz, Catherine Hill, Gertrude Killingsworth, Marie Wheeler, Rose Bruns, Lorene Porter, Casper Eichholz and Phillip Eichhholz.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 18 at 10 a.m. at the Ruma Convent Chapel in Ruma, Ill. with Fr. Clyde Grogan officiating. Burial was at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ruma. Ill.

Friends called Friday, June 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ruma Convent Chapel in Ruma, Ill.
