Sandra Jean Miller

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sandra Jean Miller, age 75, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 6:30 a.m. in her home.

Sandra was born on March 24, 1936, in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Fred K. and Dorothy Marie Ritter (Foster) Elliott. On Sept. 4, 1954, she married Carl J. Miller in St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on March 28, 1995. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and worked for Roe Abstract Office for many years until her retirement. Sandra enjoyed quilting with her quilting club at St. Bruno Catholic Church, dancing, traveling and dearly loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports.

Sandra is survived by three sons, Stephen (Reta) Miller of Du Quoin, Ill., Gene (Nancy) Miller of Mt. Sterling, Ky. and Kurt Miller of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one sister, Dixie (David) Mathis of Pinckneyville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Trent) Ketchum of Fairview Heights, Ill., Toby Miller, Bethany (Zach) McPherson, Emily Miller, Levi Miller, Luke Miller all of Du Quoin, Ill., Chelsea Miller and Colton Miller of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; two great-grandsons, Carter and Quade McPherson and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Dolores Price.

Funeral services were held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment was in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The rosary was recited at 9:00 a.m.
