</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Doris M. Bachelier, 77, of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, passed away at 2:40 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Garden Place, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late Lonnie and Laura (nee Longlois) DuFrenne on March 31, 1934 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

She married Gilmore F. "Skip" Bachelier, Jr. on July 12, 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on May 18, 2007.

She had been the manager of the laundry department at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois for 15 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

Survivors: 2 Daughters Beverly BachelierTavares, FL, Raquel (Chris) Soutiea Pevely, MO; 3 Sisters Bonnie Piel Red Bud, IL,, Marge (Kenny) Turbough Perryville, MO, Fern (Larry) Deterding Prairie du Rocher, IL, 4 Grandchildren Curtis (Krista) Sievers, Leslie Sievers, Sabrina Soutiea and Samantha Soutiea; 1 Great Grandson Nicholas Sievers

Preceded in death by Parents, Husband, 5Brothers and 3 Sisters

Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, IL

Officiating: Father Daniel J. Jurek

Interment: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois

Visitation was held Tuesday - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Wednesday - 8:00 am - 9:15 am at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, IL
