Sonja D. Pyle

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sonja D. Pyle , 73, of Summerfield, Fla., passed away Monday, April 18, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Ramsey and mother Margaret Mosley.

She was born in Decatur, Ill. and was a medical assistant in Du Quoin and Mt. Vernon. She was a former member of Du Quoin First Baptist Church and currently a member of First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, Fla.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Pyle, Sr., Summerfield, Fla.; son, Ronald Pyle, Jr., Indianapolis, Ind.; daughters, Cynthia D. Drury, Festus, Mo., Lynn E. Minetree, Muscle Shoals, Ala., Teresa L. Woods, Belleville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial Services were at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, Fla. There will be an additional memorial service in Du Quoin late in May.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
