He was born to the late Herbert and Mae (nee ) Sumner on July 15, 1933 in Murphysboro, Illinois.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois

Officiating: Rev. Phillip Keeton

Visitation: Friday - 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday - 7:30 am - 1:00 pm at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery in Chester, Illinois

Memorials: First Apostolic Pentecostal Church
