Janet Ruttle

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Janet Ruttle, age 91, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at 12:13 a.m. in Fair Acres Nursing Home, Du Quoin, Ill.

Janet was born April 30, 1919 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to Anton and Mary (Sierakowski) Cvetezar. On Jan. 24, 1946, she married Mickey Ruttle, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1989. She work as a clerk at the A & P store in Du Quoin, Ill. and was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Du Quoin, Ill. Janet and her husband left Du Quoin in the early 1950's and moved to the Chicago area. After many years they moved back to Christopher, Ill. for two years and then moved to Florida in 1980. In 2002 Janet returned to her hometown of Du Quoin, Ill.

Survivors include a sister in law, Francis Cvetezar of Chicago, Ill. and numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Ernie Cvetezar, two sisters, Helen Ogolini and Marie Reinhardt

Graveside services were held at Sunset Memorial Park, Du Quoin, Ill, on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Rich Luh officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin, Ill. Family and friends were asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. was in charge of arrangements.
