Lorene Hackleman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lorene Hackleman, 79, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Lorene had worked as a nurses aid at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin. She was a very devoted wife in taking care of her husband.

She was born Sept. 22, 1930 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Sebern and Clara (Doolin) Haggard.

She married Billy Hackleman on Dec. 25, 1949 at Du Quoin, Ill. and he preceded her in death on May 27, 2005.

She is survived by a grandson- Josh Hackleman and Jamie Hammonds of Du Quoin, great grandson- Jonathon Hackleman of Du Quoin, brother- Charles Haggard of Bourbonnais, Ill., special great niece- Cameron Shivley, several nieces and nephews, special friends- Hilda Cook, Kathy Epplin, Wilma Troutt and Mary Grace Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son- Gary Wayne Hackleman, two brothers- Lyle Haggard and Don Haggard, and sister- Ella DeMarie.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

The Searby Funeral Home of Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
