She was born Sept. 6, 1925 in Hastings, Nebraska to Mabel and Harry Noblitt, two months later they moved to Lamoni, Iowa where she resided for many years until the start of WWII when she moved to Washington D.C. It was there that she met her husband Bernard at a skating rink. While Bernard was working for the Pentagon, Donna had the opportunity to travel all over Europe, including Spain, the Mediterranean, and Sweden. While working for Sharpe Army Depot, she was selected by the Commander of the Equipment Command for the U.S. Army to write a course on accountability, and to present and teach the course at all nine Depots in the U.S. It was a great challenge and honor for her to participate in that endeavor. After retiring from civil service, Donna went to work for Stockton Unified School District where she worked as a High School Registrar for nearly 10 years. At the age of 70 she retired to enjoy the true love of her life - caring for her beloved grandchildren. She was also a member of Stockton Oaks Chapter #50 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a supporter of University of the Pacific athletics.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bernard Gray, children: Steven Gray and his wife Pam of Manteca, and Diane Lennert and her husband John of Manteca, grandchildren: John Jr., Jennifer, Julia, James, Taylor, and Kevin, sister Mildred Abbot of Oregon, and a brother Harry Noblitt Jr. of Montana.

At Donna's request private family services were held under direction of Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home. Please sign the online guestbook at www.cherokeememorial.com.
