Charles Ray Kreher

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Charles "Charlie" Ray Kreher, age 60, of Fredricksburg, Texas, formerly of Oakdale, Ill., entered into rest Friday, April 16, 2010 at 4:30 a.m. at his daughte&#39;&#185;s home in San Angelo, Texas.

Charlie was born on March 15, 1950 in Sparta, Ill., a son to Carroll D. and Evelyn W. (Ibendahl) Kreher.

He was an Army veteran, having served in <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1274126791_0">Vietnam</span>.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Renee Kreher of San Angelo, Tex.; a brother, Eugene Kreher of Oakdale; a sister, Carolyn (Gerald) Wright of Du Quoin; nieces, Michelle (Scott) Struck and Kimberly (Timothy) Cheek; great nieces, Hannah Struck, Sarah Struck and Emma Cheek and a great nephew, Levi Cheek.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Charlie&#185;s wishes were to be cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 1 p.m. at <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1274126791_1">Concord Baptist Church</span> in Rice, Ill. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1274126791_2" style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136);">on Saturday</span> at the church. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery with <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1274126791_3" style="border-bottom: 2px dotted rgb(54, 99, 136);">military rites</span>.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested and may be made to the<span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1274126791_4"> American Cancer Society</span> or Concord Cemetery.
