Sandra K. Miller
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sandra K. Miller, 64, of Du Quoin, passed away at 3:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Sandra had worked at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale for 22 years, retiring in 2005.
She was born April 12, 1945 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Leslie Dale and Lucille (Seibert) Coffel.
She is survived by her mother - Lucille Coffel of Du Quoin, brother - Galen Coffel of Du Quoin, two sons - Scott Queen of Klamath Falls, Ore. and Eric Queen of Shingle Springs, Calif., grandson - Casey Joyce of Klamath Falls, Ore., granddaughter - Madison Queen of Klamath Falls, Ore., sister-in-law - Carol Coffel of Du Quoin, uncle - Jess Coffel, Jr. of Du Quoin, three aunts - Mildred Coffel of Du Quoin, Verna Epplin of Du Quoin, and Betty Erdman of Du Quoin, three nephews - Darren Coffel of Dowell, Matthew Coffel of Du Quoin, Aaron Coffel of Chicago, several nieces, and special friend - Jack Youngman of Du Quoin.
She was preceded in death by her father - Leslie Dale Coffel, grandparents - Jacob George Seibert, Elizabeth Jane Seibert, Jesse T. Coffel and Jessie Ann Coffel.
It was Sandra's request that her body be donated to the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis so that others may benefit from her generosity.
The Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
