Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, 2010 at St. John's United Church of Christ, Evansville, IL, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial was in the Ellis Grove City Cemetery in Ellis Grove.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois, St. John's United Church of Christ, or Oak Hill-Whispering Pines (Alzheimer Unit).
