Florence Miller

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Florence Miller, 96, of Cutler, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

Florence was born Aug. 14, 1913 in Clarmin, Ill., the daughter of William Holman and Isabel (Clark) Holman. She married Frank W. "BoJac" Miller on Feb. 2, 1931 at Pinckneyville. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1984.

Florence was a homemaker and was an avid bread maker. She always had Sunday dinner at the Miller Farm and no kid went hungry.

Florence is survived by her children, Wanda (Don) Snyder of Pittsfield, Ill., Pat (Lyle "Cork") Spann of Pittsfield, Ill., Merle Miller of Campbell Hill, Ill., Roy "Jinx" (JoDean) Miller of Cutler, Ill., Quentin (Yvonne) Miller of Percy, Ill., Ronald (Tammy) Miller of Percy, Ill., Sheryl "Sugh" (Jack) Hardy of Cutler, Ill, Kenneth (Karen) Miller of Percy, Ill. and Lavonna "Teet" (Roy) Conway of Cutler, Ill.; her granddaughter and caregiver, Star (Rodney) Howie of Cutler, Ill., her grandsons and caregivers, Lonnie (Sue) Miller of Cutler, Ill. and Morris (Donna) Miller of Willisville; 37 grandchildren; 67 great- grandchildren; 20 great-great- grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Juanita Miller of Burlington, Wisc. and many nieces and nephews. She was also a mother of many other children in Cutler throughout the years.

Florence was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Vernon W. and Frankie B. and Lavonne Miller; three grandchildren; 14 brothers and sisters and two daughters-in-law, Annaliesel and Martha Miller.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler with Rev. Curt Rabe officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery in Swanwick, Ill. Visitation was held at Reformed Presbyterian Church, Cutler on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 until 10 a.m.

Funeral services were handled by Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville.
