Helen M. Kellerman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Helen M. Kellerman, age 92, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 at 12:45 p.m. in Friendship Manor, Nashville, Ill.

Helen was born on May 31, 1917 in Nashville, Ill., a daughter to Frank and Sophia Rose (Kujawa) Ladendecker. She married Joseph E. Kellerman in 1934 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1980. Helen was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill., Catholic Daughters, Moose Lodge, and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing cards, bingo and dancing and will be dearly missed.

Helen is survived by two sons: Donald Kellerman of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Roger (Becky) Kellerman of Florissant, Mo., one daughter: Betty (Eugene) Kurwicki of Nashville, Ill., two sisters: Francis Hutchings of Nashville, Ill. and Rose Degenhardt of Rice, Ill., 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son: Lloyd Kellerman, four brothers: John, Ed, Frank and Paul, three sisters: Catherine Scherle, Bernice Mathis and Irene Robinart, an infant sister: Catherine Ladendecker and three daughters-in-law: Nita Kellerman, Margie Kellerman and Lillian Kellerman.

Funeral services were held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment was in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The rosary was recited at 9:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno School.
