Boat show set for Feb. 2-4

MARION - One harbinger of spring in this region is the annual Southern Illinois Boat & Fishing Show.

The 111th version of the show will be held Feb. 2-4 at The Pavilion, 1603 Sioux Drive, in Marion.

The show offers free parking, free admission, free music and displays of outdoor equipment and fishing seminars on Saturday and Sunday. Canned goods are taken for area food pantries.

Show hours are from 3-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4.
