How excited are you that prep football and basketball championship games will now be televised?

Darren Kinnard, sports director of WSIL-TV 3: Have you ever heard something that might happen and get really excited about the possibilities? And then it does happen, and you see the impact on others? That's how I felt when I was told it was a done deal that Quincy Media will team with the IHSA and the NFHS Network to produce the state football and basketball championships.

It's been awesome seeing and hearing the positive response from people that our area will once again be able to watch the finals free on WSIL and our sub-channels. It's great news for area high school sports fans!
