SIRR Volleyball: Rough Nights for Du Quoin, Pinckneyville

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Du Quoin High School's Girls Volleyball team is 12-16 overall and 4-5 in River-to-River Conference play after Tuesday's loss at Nashville.

Scores were 14-25 and 20-25.

Thursday, Du Quoin is slated to host Anna-Jonesboro.

Rebekah Maddox had six kills for the Lady Indians with Megi Jones passing out eight assists.

Kelsey Toler and Keawna Anders each had four service points. Toler and Ashley Ward were both perfect at the serving line.

Nashville won the freshman and junior varsity matches.

At Pinckneyville Tuesday, the Lady Panthers lost to Sparta in three tought games. The scores were 25-11, 19-25 and 25-20.

Thursday, PCHS visits Chester.

Mo Ramsey had seven kills and four blocks against Sparta with Maddie Keith adding six kills and three blocks.

Haleigh Hagood notched four kills.
