St. Libory man sought by police
The Randolph County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for 31-year-old Jeremy S. Copple, of St. Libory, in alleged connection to a drug investigation.
In a Monday news release, the RCSO stated an ongoing drug investigation regarding Copple led to the filing of an arrest warrant on March 13.
Deputies were able to make a recent traffic stop on a black 2008 Dodge Charger containing Copple and during the resulting drug search, Copple - who was seated in the front passenger seat - allegedly jumped into the driver's seat and drove away from law enforcement.
A police chase ensued and was later called off as speeds exceeded 90 mph.
A warrant for aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer has been issued for Copple, with bond set at $50,000.
Anyone with information about Copple's whereabouts is requested to contact their local police department or the Randolph County Sheriff's Office at 618-826-5484.
