Paul D. Wohlwend

Paul D. Wohlwend, 76, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Paul had helped his dad in the trucking business. He had also worked at Five Star Industries and mowed lawns. He was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ in Du Quoin.

He was born July 28, 1936 at Murphysboro, Ill., the son of Gerhardt E. and Alma G. (Porter) Wohlwend.

He is survived by one brother - Leonard Wohlwend Sr. of Du Quoin, two sisters - Emma Jacoby of Christopher and Ruth Surman of Chester and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Dwayne Dollgener officiating.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
