<p dir="ltr"><strong>Christopher 53, Chester 47</strong>

<p dir="ltr"><span>CHRISTOPHER -- Chester nearly pulled it off on Feb. 7, but a 14-point halftime deficit was just a bit too much.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Josh Haberberger scored a team-high 21 points, all on seven 3-pointers, and Chester trimmed a 27-13 halftime deficit down to a single point midway through the fourth quarter, but couldn&rsquo;t quite complete the comeback in a loss to Christopher.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Savion Smith added 13 points for the Yellow Jackets (15-8, 5-4 BDC West), while Jake Golding added eight and Demontae Martin contributed five.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Chester outscored the Bearcats 19-13 in the third quarter to pull within eight, 40-32, entering the fourth. The Yellow Jackets JV squad did prevail over Christopher, taking a 53-49 win in double overtime.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Steeleville 81, Lebanon 50</strong>

<p dir="ltr"><span>STEELEVILLE -- Dusty Sutton scored 19 points to lead three players in double figures and Steeleville pulled away in the second and third quarters for a win over Lebanon on Feb. 7.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Reid Frederking (16) and Andrew Grafton (13) also reached double-digits for the Warriors (17-8, 8-1 Kaskaskia Division), who led 19-14 after the first quarter, but then outscored the Greyhounds 44-25 over the next two.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Nick Ebers (8), Owen Gross (9), Bradley Mevert (3), R.J. Smith (4), A.J. Stearns (5) and Noah Valleroy (4) also scored for Steeleville. Gavin Conway and Eli Wittenborn played, but did not score.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Steeleville 55, Trico 48</strong>

<p dir="ltr"><span>STEELEVILLE -- Owen Gross led the way with 23 points and Steeleville shrugged off a sluggish first half in a comeback win over Trico on Feb. 10.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>R.J. Smith (12) and Reid Frederking (10) also reached double digits for the Warriors (18-9), who trailed 23-7 after the first quarter and 26-14 at halftime.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>A big third quarter was the key for Steeleville, as the Warriors outscored their archrival 17-8 in the frame to trail only 34-31 heading to the fourth.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>Chester 73, Trico 60</strong>

<p dir="ltr"><span>CHESTER -- Savion Smith led three players in double figures with 18 points, while the Haberberger twins - Jake and Josh - combined for 31 more to lead Chester to a win over Trico on Feb. 11.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Chester led 25-12 after the first quarter and increased its lead to 42-26 at halftime. Jake Haberberger scored 16 points for the Yellow Jackets, while brother Josh added 15.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The Yellow Jackets improved to 17-8 overall and 6-4 in the Black Diamond West Division. The junior varsity team also took a 58-45 win to improve to 12-1 overall and 9-1 in the BDC West.</span>
