Chester Country Club Ladies; Tuesday Ladies Golf League stepping up to the ‘tee box' again this year to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Chester Country Club Ladies and the Tuesday Ladies Golf League are stepping up to the "tee box" again this year to raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The mission of the Komen Foundation is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Since its inception, the Komen Foundation has become a leading catalyst in the fight against breast cancer by raising millions of dollars in support of breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

To support the efforts of the Komen Foundation, the Chester ladies have scheduled a Rally for a Cure on September 28, 2010, at the Chester Country Club with tee off at 9:00 a.m. Golfers should register by September l0. This promises to be a fun day with the proceeds going to the Komen Foundation, so all lady golfers are encouraged to join us.

The community support has been greatly appreciated in the past and we are hoping for another successful event. Anyone wishing to make a donation to this cause may mail a check payable to "Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation," Chester Country Club, Rally for a Cure, P.O. Box 166, Chester, IL 62233. Donations will be accepted until the day of the "Rally."
