Du Quoin Police blotter

The following incidents were obtained from the Du Quoin Police Department. Note that arrests, charges and citations are allegations only, not findings of guilt.

November 15

• Police cited Marshall S. Cook, 26, of Coulterville at 10:29 p.m. for operating an uninsured vehicle. Cook was issued a notice to appear.

November 16

• Police arrested Brandon S. Melvin, 28, of Du Quoin at 1:39 p.m. on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear for a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Melvin was taken to the Perry County Jail.

November 18

• Police cited Amy J. James, 46, of Du Quoin for no valid driver's license. James was issued a notice to appear.

November 19

• Police cited Cody A. Compton, 17, of Elkville for no valid driver's license (GDL violation). Compton was issued a notice to appear.

• Police cited Tyrone J. Bivines, 19, of Elkville at 12:53 a.m. for possession of cannabis (COV) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bivines was issued a notice to appear.

• Police cited Larry B. Gray, 22, of Du Quoin at 2:41 a.m. for duty of due care (cell phone). Gray was released with a promise to comply.

• Police cited Anthony L. Davis, 21, of Du Quoin at 3:46 a.m. for operating an uninsured vehicle. Davis was issued a notice to appear.

• Police cited Eric D. Albl, 41, of Herrin at 6:51 p.m. for operating an uninsured vehicle. Albl was released with a promise to comply.

November 20

• Police cited Nathan S. Macdonald, 21, of Du Quoin at 11:59 p.m. for disobeying a traffic-control device (COV). Macdonald was released with a promise to comply.

November 21

• Police cited Frank P. Navarro, 36, of Du Quoin at 10:21 p.m. for operating an uninsured vehicle. Navarro was issued a notice to appear.
