Tamaroa man gets 18 months in prison

<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A Tamaroa man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison following a probation offense.<br /> Perry County State's Attorney David H. Searby said over the weekend that Joshua A. Harris, 32, was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections March 22 after admitting to a petition to revoke probation previously imposed for the offense of retail theft, a class 4 felony.<br /> Harris was sentenced to serve one one year and six months, with applicable sentence credit given for time previously served. He also was sentenced to with a one year of mandatory supervised release.<br /> The investigation and arrest on the underlying offense was conducted and made by the Du Quoin Police Department.<br /> </span></span>
