Tractor-trailer sideswipes car, sends Marissa woman to hospital

<p dir="ltr"><span>A 45-year-old Marissa woman got a hospital visit after the 2005 Toyota Corolla she was driving was sideswiped by a tractor-trailer on Aug. 18.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office crash report, Hillary Gullick was traveling southbound on State Route 4 a quarter of a mile north of Zeigler Mine Road.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>While on a hillcrest at this location, a gray or white-colored tractor-trailer crossed the centerline and sideswiped the Corolla.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The collision caused damage along the entire driver's side of the Corolla and caused minor injuries to Gullick, who was taken to Sparta Community Hospital via private vehicle.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The unknown tractor-trailer continued northbound from the scene and was not located by law enforcement.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The accident was reported at 4:18 p.m. with Deputy Eric Hamilton responding.</span>
