No injuries in Swanwick crash

<p dir="ltr"><span>A two-vehicle accident on Thursday at the intersection of West Holmes and Swanwick streets in Chester resulted in no injuries or citations issued.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>According to Chester Police Chief Ryan Coffey, Chester Police officers were called to the report of an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>A 2014 Freightliner semi, driven by 62-year-old Royce Speedy, of Princeton, Ind., was traveling southbound on West Holmes through intersection when he was struck by a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup driven by 77-year-old Gerald Rucker, of Chester.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The CPD's crash report states Rucker reported to the responding officer that his foot slipped off the pedal, causing a low-speed impact with the tractor-trailer.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The accident was reported at 1:30 p.m. MedStar Ambulance responded as a precaution.</span>
