No injuries in Welge Drive accident

<p dir="ltr"><span>A three-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Route 150 and Welge Drive in Chester on Thursday resulted in no injuries.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>According to the Chester Police Department's accident report, a 2003 Chevrolet Venture - driven by 76-year-old Irene A. Diercks of Chester - was stopped at Welge Drive.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>In attempting to cross Route 150, Diercks pulled out into the path of a 2010 Jeep Cherokee driven by 29-year-old Morgan K. Bendorf, of Chester.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>The impact from the collision pushed Bendorf's vehicle into a 2015 Dodge Durango - driven by 52-year-old Johnny D. Long, of Chester - that was stopped at the stop sign at Welge Drive waiting for traffic to clear on Route 150.</span>

<p dir="ltr"><span>Diercks was cited for failure to yield at an intersection. The accident was reported at 4:44 p.m.</span>
