WEEKEND: 3 Things to Do

EASTER EGG HUNT

<span>Don't be fooled, this Easter Egg hunt is not for children.</span>

<span>Join us for an adults-only Easter Egg hunt on Friday, April 1, at Cole Memorial Park in Chester. The event starts at 8 p.m.</span>

<span>Eggs will be hidden throughout the park and every egg holds a surprise. Don't forget your flashlights and buckets.</span>

<span>The cost is $20 per person to hunt and must be 18 years old to participate. The event is hosted by the St. Mary's Parent/Teacher Organization.</span>

<span>The event will occur regardless of rain.</span>

CHICKEN AND DUMPLING DINNER

<span>The Steeleville American Legion is hosting a chicken and dumpling dinner on Sunday, April 3, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.</span>

<span>Price is $8 per person, with children 5 and under free. Proceeds will benefit Steeleville Boy Scout Troop 348.</span>

LEGENDS OF COUNTRY MUSIC

<span>The Coulterville VFW (511 VFW St.) is the site of a show by The Legends of Country Music on Saturday, April 2, starting at 5:30 p.m.</span>

<span>Shanna Fredrick (Patsy Cline), Mathieu Ethington (Johnny Cash) and Steve Davis (Elvis Presley) will be performing.</span>

<span>Cover charge is $13 per person with no refunds. For reservations, call 618-758-9009. Food and drinks will be available.</span>
