FATHER-DAUGHTER DANCE

SOS (Seeds of Steeleville), in conjunction with the American Legion and local businesses, invite you to join us on Saturday, Feb. 20, for our fifth annual Father-Daughter Dance.

Fathers and daughters enjoy an evening the old-fashioned way. Come dressed in your best and dance to tunes provided by Night Magic Entertainment of Belleville. Grandpas, uncles, brothers or other male role models are welcome to join in the fun. The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. inside the large hall at the Steeleville American Legion.

TRIVIA NIGHT

St. Mary's School in Chester (835 Swanwick St.) will be having a Trivia Night on Saturday, Feb. 20, inside the school's gymnasium.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with trivia to start at 7. Admission is $10 per person, with the preference of six to eight people per table.

Please bring your own food and drinks. Walk-ins are welcome the night of the event, but advance registrations are preferred.

Registrations can be made by calling the school office at 826-3120 or Grant at 521-5655 by Feb. 19.

Prizes - 1st place: $160; 2nd place: $120 and 3rd place: $80.

CHICKEN AND BEER DANCE

The Evansville Fire Department is sponsoring its third annual Chicken & Beer Dance at the Evansville American Legion on Saturday starting at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person for those 21-and-older. Ages 13 to 20 are $5 and 12-and-under get in free.

Free water and soda will be available. Attendees are advised to bring snacks for their table.

A 50/50 raffle will be featured, as well as attendance prizes and a raffle for a "Cooler of Booze." Music will be by "Kick-N-Kountry."
