Two killed in Randolph County

Illinois State Police at the District 13 command in Du Quoin say a Red Bud man and women were killed Friday in a two-vehicle accident on Illinois 4 at Schuline Road in Randolph County.Police identified the victims as Richard F. Buch, 63, and Connie Buch, 67. The accident occurred at 1:23 p.m, according to a release.

Richard Buch was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala east on Schuline Road. Connie Buch was a passenger in the vehicle. He failed to stop at the Illinois 4 stop sign and struck a 2002 Dodge Dakota driven by Kenneth R. Dammermann, 50, of Ava. Both Dammermann and a passenger, Merlin J. Mast, 36, of Campbell Hill, suffered non-incapacitating injuries, according to state police.
