Du Quoin fair welcomes junior rodeo

The City of Du Quoin and the Du Quoin State Fair over the weekend welcomed hundreds of rodeo families from across the midwest to the junior rodeo.

This coming weekend the fair hosts the IPHA horse show.

Upcoming events at the fair include the Du Quoin High School Class of 1973 reunion July 20 at the labor pavilion, two wedding receptions in the Expo Hall and the Illinois Cutting Horse Show July 27-28.

August events will include the Aug. 4 flea market, the mini horns show on Aug. 10 and the Du Quoin State Fair Aug. 23 though Sept. 2.
