PCHS Deficit Budget on File

A tentative budget predicting $498,916 deficit in the education fund for the 2012-2013 school year was placed on file for public inspection Thursday evening. The budget also predicts shortfalls in debt service ($519), IMRF/Social Security ($12,513) and the tort fund ($92,160).

According to the budget, the district will have cash on hand in all funds beginning July 1, 2013, meaning that any deficits can be covered by cash reserves.
