Thursday's Prep Softball: Lady Panthers perfect through 11

Thursday on Greg Hale Field, Pinckneyville short-gamed Steeleville 11-1 to keep its slate perfect entering the Easter holiday break.
The Lady Panthers open River-to-River Conference play on the road at Anna-Jonesboro Monday.
Sara Malanowski (6-0) gave just three hits in the five-inning affair with her teammates providing plenty of offensive support.
Mo Ramsey homered, doubled and knocked in four runs with with Kortney Crawford a perfect 3-for-3. Two-hit days came from the bats of Dani Jenkel and Sheristy Stanton. Maddy Keith, Emily Miller and Taylor Cicardi all had RBI hits.
