Pinckneyville Celtics teammates reunited at Hall of Fame induction
The Pinckneyville Celtics, two-time Illinois State Mens' Fast-pitch Softball Champions, were inducted into the Illinois ASA Hall of Fame on Saturday night in Decatur.
Among the crowd of 300-plus at the ASA's annual banquet were more than 25 former Celtics.
Founded in 1974, the Celtics won state titles in 1981 and 1993 and won over 700 ball games in more than 20 years of playing competitive softball.

Among the Celtics in attendance were Bob Hepp, Bruce Rheinecker, Kevin Hicks, Don Brewer, Kent Brookman, Denny Winter, Shane Winter, Terry Rheinecker, Barry Kellerman, Mark Norris, Larry Shacklee, Ed Lodge, Greg Hale, Gary Endres, Adam Emling, Matt Mason, Gene Dickerson, Ron Kreid, Mike Phillips, Roy Kulenkamp, Mike O'Rear, Aaron Konkel, Clay McDonnough and others.
