New members appointed to the Board of Kaskaskia Regional Port District

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Gov Pat Quinn recently appointed six new members to the Board of Kaskaskia Regional Port District. They include Rodney Linker and Dennis Rodenberg from Monroe County; Richard Guebert, Jr. and Robert Pautler from Randolph County; and Brian Funk and Joe Luechtefeld fro St. Clair County. Also reappointed to the board were the following: Michael Conrad, Terry Liefer and George Obernagel from Monroe County; Bernard Heck, Virgil Becker and Roger Rubemeyer from St. Clair County.

All appointments require Senate confirmation and serve without compensation other than expenses.

The Kaskaskia Regional Port District serves the area of Monroe, Randolph and the southern part of St. Clair Counties. It has port facilities near New Athens, Baldwin and Evansville, IL on the Kaskaskia River and on the Mississippi River near Modoc, IL.
