Du Quoin, Pinckneyville Men Arrested for Meth Possession

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[On July 13, 2012 at 11:02 p.m. Pinckneyville Police stopped a car driven by Adam Melvin, age 24, of Du Quoin, for improper lane usage.

Upon a short investigation, both Melvin and his passenger Skyler Elder, age 22, of Pinckneyville, were arrested.

Melvin has been charged with DUI ( class A misdemeanor), possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials (class II felony) and possession of methamphetamine (class III felony).

Elder has been charged with possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials (class II felony) and possession of methamphetamine (class III felony).

Both subjects have been incarcerated in the Perry County Jail while they wait for their bonds to be set by a judge.
