DuQuoin only had two hits in the game. Austin Mansker was 1-2, as was Nate Boss.
Camdon Mercier got the loss as the starting pitcher. He went 4 1/3 innings, and was relieved by Camden Youngman, who faced four batters allowing 2 hits. Nate Boss came in to finish out the game, and struck out the final two batters.
Coach Tim Craft commented, "There is not much you can say about the game. There are not too many games where you give up that many hits, and walk a bunch of batters and can win. The effort was there, but they simply outplayed us."
DuQuoin plays at home again on Wednesday with Zeigler-Royalton-Christopher, and Friday with Anna-Jonesboro.
