Local nonprofit organizations recruiting volunteers will be on hand to talk about available opportunities and the services they provide. In addition to Belleville and East St. LouisAmeriCorps programs, groups scheduled to participate include The 17th Street Neighborhood Association, Franklin Neighborhood Community Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Illinois, Christian Home Care Services, Project READ, Programs and Services for Older Persons/ Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Harmony Neighborhood Association, Lebanon Kids Inc., Belleville Main Street, Area Agency on Aging, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Fontebella Maternity Shelter, Community Kindness and BASIC/ Belleville Parks & Recreation.
