Murphysboro Lodge #572 Elks Students Of The Month March 2012
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Murphysboro Elks Lodge #572 have chosen Taylor Marks and Travis Chandler as their Elks Students of the Month for the Month of March 2012.
Taylor Marks is the daughter of Mr. Danny Marks and Mrs. Lisa Marks.
Taylor plans on attending SEMO and becoming a Family and Relationship Counselor.
Taylor came to CHS from St. John Lutheran School.
Taylor lists her activities and achievements as Volleyball (9,10,11,12), Softball (9,10), Dance Team (9,10,11,12): Captain (11,12), Drug Free Youth (9,10,11,12), Life Savers (9,10,11,12): Treasurer (11) President (12), Environmental Club (9,10), Spanish Club (9,10,11), National Honor Society (10,11,12): Vice President (12), Student Council (11,12): Extracurricular Chair (12), School Play (9,10,11,12), Girl Scouts (1st-12th), American Legion Women's Auxiliary Member (5th-12th), Illini Girls State (11).
Taylor lists her hobbies as shopping, hanging out with friends and hunting.
Travis Chandler is the grandson of Martha and Rich Chandler and they reside in Chester.
Travis plans on attending John A. Logan to become a Vet. Tech.
Travis came to CHS from Chester Grade School.
Travis lists his activities and achievements as Spanish Club (10,11), Track (9,10), and Yearbook (12).
Travis lists his hobbies as working at The Ol Farmhouse and spending time with his amazing family and friends.
