Hospital Auxiliary Tree of Remembrance
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The first week of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Tree of Remembrance fun drive has raised a total of $3,728.85. The funds will be used to purchase a Book-Walter Retractor which is a self retaining retractor that essentially allows the surgeon to have clear visibility of the surgical area without having a person or persons hold retractors to visualize the area. Its wide array of retraction components provides numerous surgical specialties with a versatile system for multi-directional exposure of the surgical field.
Those wishing to make a donation or memorial contribution in honor of a loved one may do so by sending it to Tree of Remembrance Chairman Virginia Rowold at Memorial Hospital, 1900 State Street, Chester, Illinois 62233, or by dropping it in the collection box located in the hospital's front lobby. Donations and memorials received to date include:
